Over Thanksgiving Weekend (the Canadian one) I got to visit the lovely old-town of Boston. It was very weird as over here it was Thanksgiving but in the States that holiday isn’t until much later, and so I missed it completely. But I say it was almost worth it. The weather was AMAZING for October, sunny and warm. Perfect for sight-seeing and perfect for photography :)

Amelia and I took the (11hour) bus to New York, then another 5 hour bus to Boston. Thank God we flew back because I would not have been able to do it again! So there you have it, three days, a TON of photos later :)

Last night I had the opportunity to volunteer my services at a fundraiser for an organisation called The Natural Step. I met one of their staff at the TedXToronto conference that was held in TO a few weeks ago and he asked if I was available to help out with an event they were having. If you haven’t heard about The Natural Step, they’re a worldwide non profit charitable organisation that’s dedicated to ensuring that we live in a sustainable way, and engaging young leaders to take up the cause for sustainability. They’re involved in some pretty life changing work, and are doing an amazing job of ensuring that young leaders are at the forefront of change. You may check out their website at http://www.naturalstep.org/

As usual, a few photo’s from the night below :)

Hello all! Its been a little bit since I blogged, but now is as good a time as any. Today I celebrate THREE years in Canada. THREE Years. Its crazy to think how that time has flown.  And in true fashion I was able to celebrate yesterday by attending none other than the Hillsong United Concert here in Toronto. Its events like this that make me so greatful to be in Canada. I remember 4 or 5 years ago, when I decided that one of my bucket list items, before I die I’d like to see Hillsong live. And now, living in Canada, I’ve been able to do that not once but twice! And now, I’m hoping to be able to attend the July 2012 Hillsong concert in Sydney.

Here are a few photos from last night that capture a little bit about why I love this band. And I have to tell you, there is just something about thousands of hands raised in worship of their one true God. Simply amazing. I’ll upload some videos as they’re done but for now, heres a little glimpse of what I imagine heaven will be a little bit like.

Summer is HERE! And with the summer, some AMAZING light for shoots like this one.
I got to work with the beautiful Monica Cardoso, who is an up and coming singer in the music scene, and asked me to do a portfolio shoot for her music portfolio.

In addition, she introduced me to an amazing new photo location, we trekked it over the the Toronto Botanical Gardens (who knew Toronto had a Botanical Garden!) and the results were fabulous.
